Good afternoon everyone,
I have two open event moderator positions, one on Formosa and one on Chesapeake. If you are creative and might be interested in joining the EM Team please send me an Event you would like to do. Include a back story, the type of monsters you would like to incorporate, and a reward you would like to give out.
You must be 18 years old to sign a contract. I will also need to know your account name and a little background as to the types of characters you play.
Please send your events to Mesanna@broadsword.com, I will take events for 2 weeks so I can get back to everyone with a final decision. I will no longer accept events after October 14th, 2016.
Thank you in advance!

|September '16 Newsletter|
Submitted by UO_Herald on September 23, 2016 at 11:57 AM CDT
|The UO Team is happy to announce we will be sending out a newsletter periodically so you can stay up to date on the latest in Britannia!|
Please encourage your friends to sign up on our web site.
19 Years of Britannian Legacy I would like to start off by thanking each of you for supporting Ultima Online as we celebrate 19 years this September 24th! As a special thanks to our long time subscribers we are going to deposit 500 Sovereigns in every master account with an active subscription account at least 10 years old as a token for our appreciation of your continued support! You will notice this by the end of September so make sure you visit the Ultima Store to claim this gift!
We are working hard on getting Publish 95 out the door by mid-November. In the next publish we have a nice Holiday crafting event that I am sure everyone will enjoy. We've added new creatures to the Huntmaster's Challenge and have some nice Holiday gifts and of course new Veteran Rewards. We are adding a new mount so we hope you like creepy crawly things *evil grin*. Publish 95 will be coming to TC1 soon so we hope to see everyone there to help check out and test the new content!
We had an issue with the Origin store where players were not able to purchase game time codes for a few days which caused us to turn off housing decay until the issue was resolved. To give a grace period to allow people enough time to buy and apply the codes we are waiting until Tuesday, September 27th to turn the Housing Warehouse back on. At that time you will be able to place, resize and trade houses again.
While we are in the process of finishing up the publishes of 2016, we have already started with the planning of the first publish of 2017. We are going to have a Pet Revamp (I promise no neon pets). So stay tuned for more information on this system and what you can expect in a future newsletter.
See you in Britannia,
Bonnie "Mesanna" Armstrong
All Hallows Eve Approaches
Don't forget that during the month of October you can visit any of Britannia's pumpkin patches in hopes of encountering the deadly Grimms for a chance to claim a carveable pumpkin. If you are brave enough, you can wrangle a carving kit from one of the Butchers in any of Britannia's graveyards. When used on the carveable pumpkin, the carving kit will reward one of several different jack o' lantern designs - including designs that are new for this year!
Beggars across Britannia will also once again take their luck to the citizens of the realm at hopes for a few tricks and even more treats. Don't forget this year we've got many new treats including spiced apple trays, a tabletop gypsy wagon lamp, and more!
Finally, there is still time for you to venture into the Kotl City and claim the many rewards held within! The Kotl City will be available until Publish 95 goes World Wide in November. Any crafting items related to Automaton crafting will be available through the new BOD system being released in Publish 95. If there are non-automaton crafting items associated with the Kotl City you still wish to get your hands on act now - next year's Treasures of Halloween dungeon could be completely new with different rewards!
New Item PreviewHere's a preview of some of the new reward items for various content that is part of Publishes 94 & 95. Note that some of these are early concepts and may change for final implementation.
Question & Answer Corner1. How many times can I change my secret word?
We will assist you with changing your secret word once. After that it will only be changed after an account has been unlinked with the information changed showing a change of ownership.
2. How long with the Treasures of the Kotl City be available?
The Treasures of the Kotl City will be active until we publish 95 which is in the middle of November. After that Automaton items can be obtained through the new BOD system that will be available with Publish 95.
3. How many new skills will be covered with the new BOD system?
Eight total but 6 new skills. Tinkering, Fletching, Alchemy, Inscription, Carpentry, and Cooking will all added in the new BOD system.
4 . When will you be giving out information about the 20th anniversary party?
As soon as a few of the plans are finalized we will be sending out an email and posting to try to get an idea of how many people will be able to attend.
1. If you have an account that was terminated by CS over a year ago and would like to have it back please contact support here and give them the details and identify the account as yours, depending on the termination we will remove the restriction from your account so you may open it again.
2. All Sovereigns purchased from Origin have to be entered on the Account Management page. You can not enter these in game.
3. Anyone that is trying to reopen an account please make sure you send all the information to firstname.lastname@example.org so we can have a record of this. In the original request to support if you do not know your secret word please ask for a hint. Give them all the information to identify the account as yours so there will not be a lot of delays.
4. Anyone that does not get their codes from Origin please follow this link to resolve the issue..
5. If you have any in game questions or issues please either page in game or email email@example.com.
6. For any feedback to content put in game please send it to UO@broadsword.com.
7. Regarding Origin orders, codes, and third party resellers.
Recently some of the player base may have noticed that an Origin store purchase they have made did not arrive or complete as expected. A confirmation or code email has not been received and you are wondering what may have occurred with your order. The Origin store enacts reviews on all transactions to safeguard against fraudulent purchases, and these reviews may take up to 72 hours. Unfortunately our Billing department is not able to expedite or circumvent this process, however players who have questions or concerns regarding a store purchase can contact Origin support for assistance using the below link:
When prompted for a product, choose Origin. Next choose your platform, and select ‘Orders’ as the topic. You can further specify your issue in the subsequent fields before speaking with an agent.
We would also like to reiterate that the Origin store is the only guaranteed provider of codes for Ultima Online. The validity of a code purchased from a third-party seller (be it a friend, in-game acquaintance, or recommended site) cannot be guaranteed. Furthermore, any codes we find to have be fraudulently obtained will be disabled and an account that applies any of these codes will have that code removed from said account. This can result in the loss of gametime, character slots, expansion access, Sovereigns (and the items purchased with them), in-game items and more. Please be advised that we cannot assist with any issues stemming from codes purchased via non-Origin means; you will be required to contact the vendor from which you purchased the code for further assistance.

Origin is now selling the game time codes once again. We will keep the housing decay off until Tuesday 9/27/2016 to give everyone time to buy and apply their codes.
Have a great day!
Good morning everyone,
As I am sure you have noticed you are unable to purchase Game Time Codes on the Origin Store. I still do not have an ETA on the time or date it will be fixed, so as of today we are going to be turning off Housing Warehouse. Understand that by turning off the Housing Warehouse this also means no houses can be placed until we turn it back on. We will not turn back on the Housing Warehouse until 1 week after the Origin Store begins selling the codes again. Turning off the Housing Warehouse does not mean it will save a house if the house is in the IDOC state.
As soon as I have any more information I will pass it along to keep everyone up to date.
