Hard economic times in the animal kingdom?

Just has to share this, one of the worst thought-out sentences I've ever seen in a news article:

"Shark attacks on humans were at the lowest levels in half a decade last year, and a Florida researcher says hard economic times may be to blame."

Is shark unemployment on the rise? Massive layoffs in the field of human biting?

Actually, it makes a lot of sense. You see, the Sharks were enjoying our fat asses for a snack. Since we have had to cut back on the big and nice dinners, there is much less to chew on. Therefore, the sharks are back to eating Tuna like the rest of us........
