Sherry the Mouse: *jumps up on the table*
Willa of the Yew-Wood: Oo!
Sherry the Mouse: Hi! I was asked to take over this meeting.
Skattles II: *drops book in chair and barks furiously*
Skattles II: bark bark bark!
Willa of the Yew-Wood: *holds Skattles Back*
Skattles II: bark bark!
John: Dog and cat, please leave this mouse alone.
Willa of the Yew-Wood: No no boy
Skattles II: bark!
Kittie: Oh!! Hello Sherry!!!
Willa of the Yew-Wood: Sherry is a good mouse
Jennifer-Marie: *sighs softly*
Skattles II: *growls*
Kittie: *glares at the dog and then eyes the mouse*
Sherry the Mouse: *waves a paw*
Willa of the Yew-Wood: Sit boy.
Sherry the Mouse: The King can't make the meeting.
Willa of the Yew-Wood: NO SkattleS!
Skattles II: *looks perplexed*
Willa of the Yew-Wood: Bad dog.
Farrah: *grumbles*
Skattles II: Wrrff?
Kittie: *hisses at the dog*
John: The report, then, I take it was true.
Sherry the Mouse: I speak dog.
Sherry the Mouse: Wrrff roof.
Skattles II: *seems to notice the mouse speaking for the first time*
Dupre: *pats dog*
Skattles II: mmmrf..?
Skattles II: *sits and calms down*
Sherry the Mouse: Ruff mmrf Sherry.
Skattles II: woof.
Sherry the Mouse: Yip yip.
Skattles II: *tilts head*
Sherry the Mouse: The report was sadly true.
Sherry the Mouse: But the King will recover.
Kittie: *frowns*
Tanda: Praise the Goddess
Skattles II: *slips back under the table*
Willa of the Yew-Wood: *sighs*
Sherry the Mouse: His injuries were extensive, but the best mages and healers are attending to him.
Willa of the Yew-Wood: I certainly hope so.
Skattles II: *crawls back in seat*
Dot Warner: He really needs to stop wandering off alone...
Kittie: *frowns deeply*
Willa of the Yew-Wood: not the same ones that attended Clainin are they???
Sherry the Mouse: *nods to Dot*
Willa of the Yew-Wood: We all remember how that ended...
Sherry the Mouse: The habits of young lords can be hard to break, even when they become older kings.
Sherry the Mouse: I am told the king took breakfast this morning, so that is a good sign.
Sherry the Mouse: I believe he will return to this hall soon enough.
Willa of the Yew-Wood: That's good to hear not that we don't like seeing you Sherry...
Kittie: That's good.
Sherry the Mouse: I understand. This is a formal meeting. I think the agenda is longer than I am.
Sherry the Mouse: But I will do my best.
Sherry the Mouse: Let's see. We talked, so that sounds like "communication."
Sherry the Mouse: So I guess I'll ask you how your towns are faring with the current crisis and in general?
Sherry the Mouse: Would anyone like to start?
Jennifer-Marie: I think they'd be fairing better if we were there on the front lines.
Jennifer-Marie: Our duties are important, but right now our people are struggling to hold back the invading forces.
Sherry the Mouse: I understand.
Sherry the Mouse: I'm told there is a war report coming later.
Sherry the Mouse: Information you can bring back to your people.
Tanda: Citizen in Minoc seem to be split
Skattles II: *tilts head*
Sherry the Mouse: *listens*
Tanda: many are picking up the fight
Tanda: some are to terrified to do even daily routine
Tanda: still others sadly victimize what where they can in the chaos
Willa of the Yew-Wood: Many in Yew run in terror...
Sherry the Mouse: *shakes her head sadly*
Dot Warner: Britain remains defiant in the face of the Titan's incursions.
Kittie: Moonglow continues to fight as they can, but we've already had issues that require resolution.
Sherry the Mouse: Always sad when that happens.
Sherry the Mouse: Do you worry any of your towns will fall?
Willa of the Yew-Wood: I've seen a few brave guards standing their ground... but most flee in terror.
Skattles II: *fishes book out of chair*
Skattles II: *drops book from jaws onto table*
Willa of the Yew-Wood: I have faith in the resilience of the peoples of Britannia to keep the towns safe.
Jennifer-Marie: Trinsic won't go down until the last Paladin goes down. I swear to that.
Dot Warner: *nods*
Kittie: I think Moonglow will make it through this.. but, it's taking everything and everyone we have..
Sherry the Mouse: I remember watching Lord British years ago worry over things during his wars.
Farrah: Skara's rangers are fighting with all their might to keep the evil at bay.
Farrah: Hopefully this war ends swiftly.
Sherry the Mouse: *scampers down the table*
Sherry the Mouse: *drags book back to her seat*
Skattles II: *looks for something else to chew on*
Skattles II: *chews on Farrah's dress*
Sherry the Mouse: I'm glad the fighting is going well. Not something a mouse can help with.
Sherry the Mouse: But I'll think about ways to help morale.
Skattles II: rarf!
Skattles II: *chews on rib covetously*
Sherry the Mouse: Are there any other town matters you wish to discuss?
Sherry the Mouse: I will bring this report and your comments to the King and Royal Guard.
Sherry the Mouse: Very good.
Sherry the Mouse: I think I will call up our guest to discuss National Security.
Dupre: *nods in greeting* Sherry. Governors.
Dupre: I am here to discuss the current invasions and our defense.
Dupre: Several armies have attacked cities across Britannia.
Dupre: Of the larger cities, only Jhelom and New Magincia are untouched by this conflict.
Dupre: We do not know the reason for this, but we are relocating civilians to Jhelom.
Dupre: The armies are being led by several powerful beings called the Titans.
Dupre: They seem to be powerful elementals of fire, water, earth, and air.
Dupre: While the Titans have been driven out of several cities, they continue to return.
Dupre: We have organized our forces to maintain our defenses.
Dupre: However we are asking Britannian security to look into a way to defeat the enemy.
Dupre: Does anyone have any questions?
Tanda: *raises hand*
Dupre: Yes, Governor Knighthawke?
Tanda: Has a link been established between the elements
Tanda: and some mage or magic? They are often used in incantations
Tanda: to summon or create magic
Tanda: Typically whether good or evil depends on the caster
Dupre: Based on their tactics, the Titans themselves seem intelligent.
Dupre: We're not sure how they got into this world.
Dupre: There have been rumors of cultists summoning them.
Dupre: As for their relationships or ties, we are not sure.
Tanda: *nods*
Dupre: Are there any other questions?
Dot Warner: Aye..
Willa of the Yew-Wood: Cultists I have seen...
Dupre: Governor Warner?
Dot Warner: Do you believe what we've fought in the cities are the actual titans, or just a representation?
Dot Warner: A proxy form...
Dupre: When their bodies die, they still manage to come back.
Dupre: So, I don't think we've seen their actual forms.
Dot Warner: *nods*
Dupre: When one wave hits you, it's not the whole ocean.
Dot Warner: Perhaps containment would be a better option than killing them.
Dupre: Whatever gets them out of my city, I'm fine with.
Dupre: Are there any other questions?
Dupre: Thank you for your time.
Sherry the Mouse: *waves a paw at Dupre*
Sherry the Mouse: Thanks!
Dupre: *smiles*
Sherry the Mouse: *looks at the agenda*
Sherry the Mouse: Since we don't have the King, we don't need his response.
Sherry the Mouse: But I'm sure he's very proud of all of you.
Sherry the Mouse: *looks down the list*
Sherry the Mouse: Do you have any requests?
Sherry the Mouse: Guess not.
Sherry the Mouse: *looks again*
Skattles II: wrf
Sherry the Mouse: A new issues!
Skattles II: *chews on cushion*
Sherry the Mouse: Do you have any new issues?
Willa of the Yew-Wood: Besides concern over these invasions
Willa of the Yew-Wood: And reports of flooding no...
Sherry the Mouse: Yeah, invasion, cultists, flooding, earthquakes, ghosts, fires, and trapped miners fill the news.
Willa of the Yew-Wood: Indeed...
Sherry the Mouse: I'm glad I have the newspaper to keep me informed.
Willa of the Yew-Wood: Undead rising all over near Skara Brae I hope that stays contained to that island.
Sherry the Mouse: *nods*
Sherry the Mouse: Skara is such a lovely island. I hope they can fight the ghouls off.
Willa of the Yew-Wood: As I said i Have faith the peoples of Britannia to get though this.
Sherry the Mouse: I would ask that you tell all your citizens who helped Mythran that I'm grateful.
Tanda: As each of us are born of the elements, I believe we have the power within us
Sherry the Mouse: I think all of them have an important part to play in ending this crisis.
Tanda: to defeat this
Sherry the Mouse: *nods*
Sherry the Mouse: I agree with both of you, Willa and Tanda. Lots of good people to have faith in.
Willa of the Yew-Wood: We have persevered though so much... I have faith we will again.
Sherry the Mouse: I have hope in that too.
Sherry the Mouse: I should let you get back to the defense of your towns. Unless anyone has anything else?
Skattles II: *stops chewing on the chair and looks up*
Sherry the Mouse: Ruff yip hrf, Skattles.
Tanda: We need to get Skattles a bone chair
Please choose your destination.
Skattles II: *looks mind blown*
Skattles II: mrwff!
Sherry the Mouse: Rwff!
Sherry the Mouse: I can't think of a better word to end on, Skattles. Thank you!
Willa of the Yew-Wood: *pats Skattles*
Skattles II: *harruffs*
Sherry the Mouse: *jumps off table*
Tanda: Blessed Be, Sherry
Sherry the Mouse: It was good to see all of you!
Willa of the Yew-Wood: Thank you Sherry.
Jennifer-Marie: Thank you, Sherry. Stay safe.
Sherry the Mouse: See you again soon!
Skattles II: bark!
Willa of the Yew-Wood: Always a pleasure dear.
Sherry the Mouse: You too!
