DaKaren: Welcome to the 459th session of the High Council of Britannia.
DaKaren: Britannia has been pleasantly devoid of calamitous events since the matter of the tetrahedron in Moonglow was resolved.
DaKaren: Though I am sure I will regret saying that aloud, as another moonstone is bound to surface soon.
DaKaren: So...
DaKaren: Vigilance.
DaKaren: Grand Marshal Polynikes, would you please brief the Council on military matters in the Kingdom?
Polynikes of Yew: Thank you, Chancellor.

Polynikes of Yew: Things have been very peaceful.
Polynikes of Yew: I have no additional information regarding the missing Lord Earhad Todie
Polynikes of Yew: I do think it is time that we restart training of all members of the
Polynikes of Yew: Britannian Armed Forces.
Polynikes of Yew: There will be an informal drill this wed evening at 8pm under central skies.
Polynikes of Yew: All available members of the BAF are instructed to meet at the Yew Moongate at that time.
Polynikes of Yew: That is all I have to share with the Council at this time.
DaKaren: Thank you, Grand Marshal.
DaKaren: Councilor Kivlov, does the Township of Newcastle have anything to bring before the Council this eve?
Guntur Kivlov: I have seen a decrease in the bird population as compared to last month.
Guntur Kivlov: I am unsure how this may relate to the events in Moonglow...
Guntur Kivlov: but it is my experience that birds are naturally attuned to disturbances in the flow of things.
Guntur Kivlov: Other than that, our faire township is happy and healthy.
DaKaren: *nods slowly*
Guntur Kivlov: Thank you Chancellor
DaKaren: *nods*
DaKaren: Thank you, Councilor.
DaKaren: Councilor Warner, does the City of Britain have anything to bring before the Council this eve?
Dot Warner: Aye, thank you.
Dot Warner: Britain fares well, with more than 140 million gold in the coffers.
John: *smiles, as always shyly in Tanda's presence*
Dot Warner: I look forward to the day when that amount is more useful, not that I'm complaining about the city having too much gold.
Dot Warner: *sighs*
Dot Warner: There will be a Britain Town Social on Wednesday the 20th at 8pm C in FitzOwen Green.
Dot Warner: As with the previous socials, this will be a low-key gathering designed to encourage citizen participation and ideas for the future of the capital.
Dot Warner: An official announcement will be posted on the Tribune on the 11th.
Dot Warner: The Rumble in the Jungle Tournament was officially announcement last weekend, it is on Saturday, May 30th at 1pm C.

Dot Warner: Perhaps the Britannian dog catchers are doing their job...

DaKaren: Thank you, Councilor.
DaKaren: Councilor Knighthawke, does the city of Minoc have anything to bring before the Council this eve?

Tanda: I have been sensing some whispers in the Ethers
Tanda: I shall let my husband explain further
Tanda: what we have discussed
John: Umm. *collects himself*
John: There are vague, half-hearted whispers in the woods between Vesper and Minoc. Have been
John: for a few weeks now.
John: Also the smell of fire and of smoke, when no
John: fire is present.
John: Not enough to cause panic....We live in a magical world, and things like that can happen
John: for any number of reasons.
John: So no one has panicked yet but....It does not appear
John: associated with the cemetery.
John: So, lacking the obvious cause,
John: people are concerned.
John: The Governors of both cities, and myself of course as my wife's aide,
John: are looking into things. Which, given the lack of data, is not easy!
John: That is all from me Chancellor.
DaKaren: *nods*
DaKaren: Sounds...interesting...potentially disturbing.
Tanda: Other than those disturbances life has been calm
DaKaren: Thank you, Councilor and Lord Knighthawke.
Tanda: you're welcome
DaKaren: Councilor Aornis, does the city of Vesper have anything to bring before the Council this eve?
Aornis: Other than the potentially malicious whisperings in the forest, all is well in Vesper.
Aornis: Governor Knighthawke and I are looking into it

DaKaren: Councilor Jameison, does the city of Jhelom have anything to bring before the Council this eve?
Thom Jameison: Thank you Chancellor
Thom Jameison: things are progressing well in Jhelom.
John: *nods to Derek*

Thom Jameison: Our citizens are happy and prospering. I will be having a Town Meeting
Thom Jameison: Wed. May 13th at 7pm cdt

DaKaren: Neither of the seated Ministers is with us this eve.
DaKaren: Minister Todie is sadly still missing, while Minister Hla-ate had a family matter to attend to.
