Tanda: I here by call this meeting of the High Council to order
Zeph: Evenin'
Ariyana Sune: *nods*
Vandyme: *drops his coin into his robes and looks up*
Tanda: Are there any councilors with items needing to be addressed tonight?
Tanda: Or reports?
Tanda: *looks around*
Tanda: Seeing no hands
Ariyana Sune: *tries to open the book but the pages are stuck together*

Tanda: *Giggles*

Tanda: Ok I think most should open now

Tanda: Next item would be the speech Ioshus left me regarding his resignation
Tanda: His words not mine
Zeph: *cocks an eyebrow*
Tanda: *unrolls scroll*
Tanda: I regret that I could not be here myself
Saipher: *listens*
Tanda: to give this speech, but the matters I
Tanda: foresaw pulling me away from this realm
Tanda: have cropped up sooner than I expected.
Tanda: I am sure Tanda will do a spiffy job though.
Tanda: During my time as Justicar, and adjutant
Tanda: Justicar before that, I have lived through
Tanda: truly interesting times. Not all of them good,
Tanda: but at the same time not all of them bad.
Tanda: There were battles against the empire, cities
Tanda: trying to secede from Britannia, political divisions,
Tanda: border fights amongst Britannian cities, and attacks
Tanda: on the High Council Chamber itself by more
Tanda: groups than I can remember. Also there was the
Tanda: freeing of Nujel'm many festivals and parties,
Tanda: a few weddings, the beginning of a new chapter
Tanda: being written for the High Council, and most of all
Tanda: the High Council hurdling, or slinking around every
Tanda: problem it faced.
Tanda: I would like to think that during my time the High
Tanda: Council saw the worst of its problems, but I fear it
Tanda: hasn't. There will be other times when the very
Tanda: existence of the High Council will be in question
Tanda: though I know as long as there is at least one person
Tanda: willing to fight for it, the High Council will survive.
Tanda: It saddens me to know that from now on I will not be
Tanda: that person.
Tanda: I have enjoyed my time as Justicar, though I have begun
Tanda: to feel tired. New blood is needed. People who have not
Tanda: only a love for the law but the time and energy to see that
Tanda: it is maintained. As of late, I lack the time and energy.
Tanda: Instead of waiting for my usefulness to end the time has
Tanda: come for me to go out on one last adventure and find my
Tanda: last path before it finds me.
Tanda: Well by now I'm sure everyone has heard enough of my
Tanda: reminiscing and predictions. Before I left I completed my
Tanda: final draft of the High Courts revisions. I leave this with
Tanda: the Council to decide on: use it, revise it, or do with it what
Tanda: you wish.
Meneldur: *folds his arms*

Kimber: I would like to say I was wanting to run for the mayor of Skara.. and possibly keep this council s

Kimber: I have long dreamed of this.. and now it is to close to let go now..

Kimber: I can arrange for elections and so on.. if I have your approval..
Tanda: I do not wish to see that either
Tanda: I would welcome elections

Tanda: Not that I am aware of
Kimber: Then if you would agree..
Kimber: I would set the elections up soon.
Tanda: I would like to put it before the Council
Tanda: That we allow Kimber to sit as Acting Councilor

Tanda: until such time as the elections are official
Vandyme: *nods*
