Ra'Dian Fl'Gith: Sorry t' be late.
Ren The Conjuror: *Gives Ra'dian a long look, his gaze distant and troubled*
Ren The Conjuror: *Turns forward and stiffens a little*
Ailieve: *sighs and tugs on her bangs*
Dar: *looks around and starts eating*
Ra'Dian Fl'Gith: Give me a moment t' sort m' papers an' we'll begin if we 'avenae already.
hans noodlenogin: *smiles at Ailieve*
Ailieve: *nods to Hans*

HIGH COUNCIL MEETING

Ra'Dian Fl'Gith: A'ight...
Ra'Dian Fl'Gith: Let's get this meetin' rollin'.
Ra'Dian Fl'Gith: I'll open th' floor t' any Council members who 'ave items t' bring forth first...
Leon DeLucsil: *looks around*
Dar: *picks his ear*
Ra'Dian Fl'Gith: No one?
Andreas: *looks around*
Ren The Conjuror: *Looks at Ra'dian*
Dar: *starts to fall asleep*
Ra'Dian Fl'Gith: *looks at Ren*
Ra'Dian Fl'Gith: Would ye like the floor, Grand Marshall?
Ren The Conjuror: *Nods once*
Ren The Conjuror: *Looks aorund the room and takes a deep breath*
Ren The Conjuror: Since before even the final withdrawal of Lord British this High Council has served the people of
Ren The Conjuror: Britannia.
Ren The Conjuror: Its history is long and proud.
Ren The Conjuror: A history filled with struggle and ups and downs.
Ren The Conjuror: Throughout this long history the Royal Knights have offered their lives and their swords.
Ren The Conjuror: They have stood beside the brave men and women of the BAF.
Ren The Conjuror: Since before even the formation of this council
Ren The Conjuror: the Knighthood has struggled to serve the crown and the people of Britannia.
Ren The Conjuror: With Lord British gone,
Ren The Conjuror: the Knights have worked with this council in hopes of continuing this long tradition
Ren The Conjuror: Times have changed.
Ren The Conjuror: I have served as the Grand Marshall of Virtue far longer then any of my predecessors.
Ren The Conjuror: Before that time I served as on of the first three Field Marshalls
Ren The Conjuror: chosen by Grand Marshal Nero of the Order of the Silver Serpent.
Ren The Conjuror: During times of war, when leading the BAF into combat
Ren The Conjuror: against the orcs in Yew, the invading forces in Britain, or the Atalan in Trinsic, my job was clear
Ren The Conjuror: The need of the people was clear and the council served as a rallying force
Ren The Conjuror: against these clear threats
Ren The Conjuror: Since the last major battle in Nujelm against the Empire,
Ren The Conjuror: we have experienced a relative peace.
Ren The Conjuror: A peace that has allowed me the time to evaluate and question if I am still serving the people
Ren The Conjuror: The truth I believe now is that the existing council has long been held
Ren The Conjuror: together by a few strong individuals,
Ren The Conjuror: clinging to a proud tradition and hoping that things shall one day
Ren The Conjuror: return to what they once were.
Ren The Conjuror: Uncountable hours of work has been spent by a few in a struggle for the many.
Ren The Conjuror: It is my belief, that our work to this date, has failed.
Ren The Conjuror: *Looks around and takes another deep breath*
Ren The Conjuror: The council has become a ghost of what it once was.
Ren The Conjuror: There are failings in every branch from the Justice system to the armed forces.
Ren The Conjuror: None are without fault and none are without responsibility.
Ren The Conjuror: The votes and even verdicts have become a popularity contest and the
Ren The Conjuror: right decisions are no longer being made.
Ren The Conjuror: From week to week nothing is accomplished.
Ren The Conjuror: So many laws and subsections exist that almost nothing can be accomplished.
Ren The Conjuror: My duties as Grand Marshall and the discipline of the BAF
Ren The Conjuror: is at issue as the detailed charters prevent me from taking action.
Ren The Conjuror: With these troubled thoughts plaguing me daily...
Ren The Conjuror: I have been forced to make a decision.
Ren The Conjuror: In order to return to the original intent of this council
Ren The Conjuror: and to move once again in action, in the right direction.
Ren The Conjuror: To serve the people of Britannia with every resource at my disposal without constraint
Ren The Conjuror: I would like to announce my resignation as the Grand Marshal of Virtue.
Ren The Conjuror: *Pauses*
Ailieve: *sighs and looks down*
Ren The Conjuror: In addition
Andreas: *squints*
Ren The Conjuror: as the commanding officer of the Knighthood, I am withdrawing the Royal Knights
Ren The Conjuror: from official service in the Britannian Armed Forces.
hans noodlenogin: *gasps*
Ren The Conjuror: We shall continue to patrol the streets of our land.
Ren The Conjuror: Without a king, we look to the ruling council as he appointed for direction.
Ren The Conjuror: Should this direction be found lacking,
Ren The Conjuror: the knights and the citizens of Newcastle will be forced
Ren The Conjuror: to seek an alternative, one that only the future can determine.
Ren The Conjuror: It is our hope that with our withdrawal we can continue to work
Ren The Conjuror: with any remaining forces of this council during our patrols,
Ren The Conjuror: rather then the opposite alternative.
Ren The Conjuror: *Looks around the room and turns back forward*
Ren The Conjuror: The Knighthood and citizens of Newcastle hope to inspire
Ren The Conjuror: and work with any others who work for the people.
Ren The Conjuror: We wish this council success in the future,
Ren The Conjuror: but at this time
Ren The Conjuror: we can no longer serve nor recognize the existing council as the acting authority.
Ren The Conjuror: *Looks at each councilor and then turns to Ra'dian*
Ren The Conjuror: May the Virtues bless you all and the stars light your way.
Lilyannia: *Drops her pike*
Ariakas: *Drops pike*
KnightWalker: *drops her pike*
Ra'Dian Fl'Gith: Inspiration through abandonment. A most interesting technique.
Ra'Dian Fl'Gith: This meeting stands adjourned.

Polynikes of Yew: *grins*
Polynikes of Yew: and that would have

Ra'Dian Fl'Gith: Let us stand from this taller than before.
Polynikes of Yew: Wise call sir.
Polynikes of Yew: *nods*
