211th High Council Meeting (July 31, 2006)

Arrenathian: I was there the night they were in Vesper
Tanda: *Smiles*
Tanda: I popped into the bank not knowing they had arrived
Arrenathian: *looks concerned*
Tanda: I didn't stay long
Sal'Rashi: Looks like will just be a late meeting
Arrenathian: *grins*
Arrenathian: Ah very good
Tanda: apparently, folks just had to disengage
Arrenathian: aye
Vadim Hecate: *looks about*
Tanda: There's the girl
Seraphina: *wags tail*
Sal'Rashi: Someone throw rover a bone
Seraphina: *tilts head*
Kimber: *pets the pup*
Arrenathian: Your week was well, I hope Chancellor?
Vadim Hecate: I have a strong dislike for mutts
Tanda: as can be expected
Arrenathian: *nods*
Seraphina: *barks defiantly at vadim*
Tanda: Well that is a shame M'lord

Tanda: I have a rather strong bias toward folks who get along with animals
Kimber: A bit slow for most part
Arrenathian: With the invasion I would think so.
Tanda: *scratches her ears*

Tanda: I'm going to wait another few moments
Vadim Hecate: *nods off to sleep*

Tanda: as the invasion seems to be detaining folks

Arrenathian: Better to keep the troops in the field then some meeting

Tanda: Those nasty snakes, been a bother girl?

Seraphina: *whimpers and sits up*
Arrenathian: Grey has been visiting me often now
Tanda: *chants a spell of protection*
Seraphina: *barks at vadim*
Tanda: I had wondered

Tanda: Oh merely there may be trouble in paradise
Arrenathian: *looks at her with a raised eyebrow*
Arrenathian: Oh yes the doomed engagement
Tanda: *Nods*
Kimber: Are you speaking about Grey and His recent x wife?
Seraphina: *barks toward the door*
Tanda: company?
Arrenathian: Yes Kimber
Kimber: *nods*
Tanda: Welcome M'lady
Styxx: Good evening
Arrenathian: Lady Chancellor
Seraphina: *sniffs curiously*

Tanda: *looks to Arren*
Arrenathian: Would it not be prevalent for the ambassador to sit within the circle?
Seraphina: *sniffs at her*
Tanda: Aye, it would be easier for folks to distinguish her
Seraphina: *barks softly*
Styxx: My apologies for the late arrival
Tanda: but I'm not much on protocol
Arrenathian: *grins*
Tanda: Tis no trouble
Styxx: I did not wish to be disruptive
Tanda: we haven't started yet
Tanda: most have been late
Seraphina: *eyes him*
Sal'Rashi: *scratches the pup between the ears*

Tanda: Welcome all to the High Council
Tanda: I call this meeting to order
Tanda: let the record show there is no quorum tonight either
Tanda: at this point
Tanda: thus Styxx will continue as High Council Ambassador
Tanda: still pending that approval
Arrenathian: *nods*
Tanda: Are there any issue to be be addressed
Tanda: by members of the council?
Arrenathian: I will for new business
Kimber: Well I suppose I am saved for another week?
Kimber: *smiles*
Seraphina: *hops up on the counter to sniff at the bottle*
Arrenathian: What does that mean kimber?
Kimber: Well..
Kimber: Ra was going to tell me tonight If I was to be a enemy of the state of not
Kimber: with BDA
Arrenathian: Pfft
Kimber: and if i was being removed from the seat.
Tanda: Oh have no fear
Seraphina: *bark*
Tanda: I have heard of no intent
Tanda: to remove you
Kimber: *nods*
Tanda: from anyone other than Major Duras
Seraphina: *barks at the name*
Seraphina: *growls*
Tanda: *glances and smiles at Poly*
Tanda: Welcome Grand Marshall
Polynikes of Yew: *smiles*
Polynikes of Yew: Sorry I am late
Arrenathian: *smiles*
Arrenathian: Invasions will do that,
Polynikes of Yew: *nods*
Tanda: M'lady Styxx has been carried over
Seraphina: *scratches ear*
Tanda: unless quorum arrives before meetings end
Tanda: Anything to report regarding the United Sosarian Council meeting?
Seraphina: *sits and listens*
Styxx: I attended and introduced myself
Tanda: Pets her back
Styxx: I was recognized and asked to sit at the front
Seraphina: *looks up and wags tail*
Styxx: the same as here
Styxx: I was questioned as to my duties
Seraphina: *bark*
Seraphina: *looks at other door*
Tanda: *shivers*
Styxx: as well as to the extent of my responsibilities
Tanda: Aye
Seraphina: *bark*
Styxx: I explained that I was there to act as a facilitator between the two councils
Styxx: and that hopefully through my dedicated service
Styxx: the flow of goods and communications might be enhanced
Styxx: between the two bodies
Tanda: *Nods*
Tanda: Very well
Tanda: I missed most of the meeting
Tanda: arrived rather fashionably late
Arrenathian: *grins*
Tanda: Anything you need to report Grand Marshall?
Tanda: *looks to Poly*
Polynikes of Yew: *nods*
Polynikes of Yew: The Ophidian invasion is growing in strength and intensity
Polynikes of Yew: in Papua and Vesper especially
Polynikes of Yew: We have sent forces and will continue to do so.
Polynikes of Yew: that is the most recent information I have
Tanda: Has there been any indication as to why they attack?
Polynikes of Yew: We will be organizing some large-scale efforts later this week.
Tanda: *Nods*
Tanda: I read somewhere something had been stolen
Polynikes of Yew: *nods*
Tanda: I am guessing there is no idea if it is found
Malag aste: *looks about the room.*
Tanda: if it would be anything
Tanda: we would wish to return
Tanda: or could?
Seraphina: *perks ears*
Arrenathian: *looks over at the squire*
Malag aste: *smiles at tanda*
Tanda: Any other items

Tanda: Seeing nothing
Tanda: we'll move to new business
Tanda: Vice Chancellor
Arrenathian: Yes...
Arrenathian: *looks at the sparse number of people.*
Arrenathian: I think it maybe time for the council to evolve.
Arrenathian: There seems to be lack of councilors
Arrenathian: and a general lack of interest in this configuration
Arrenathian: I will be posting a few ideas as a very rough draft
Arrenathian: and I do stress the point rough draft of a possible configuration for the council.
Arrenathian: That is all I have to report upon
Arrenathian: *smiles*
Tanda: *Nods*
Tanda: Anyone else on the council with a new item?
Tanda: Anyone in the assembly?
Tanda: *looks around*
Tanda: Nothing which needs to be addressed?
Arrenathian: It seems not
Tanda: Then it would appear the council's business for the eve is done
Tanda: The Council is adjourned
